Several Bundesliga clubs want to change the revenue distribution system.


According to Sport Bild, Eintracht, Schalke, Stuttgart, Werder, Bochum and Hertha will form a new alliance, which will also include Hamburg, Fortuna and Nuremberg from the second Bundesliga.


The purpose of the association is to revolutionize the distribution of money. Clubs whose main investors are big groups, such as RB Leipzig, Wolfsburg, Bayer Leverkusen and Hoffenheim, are expected to receive less money than traditional clubs from fixed soccer picks with large fan bases.


It`s not just about TV revenue. The question is how the income from the planned participation of investors in the new marketing campaign of the German Football League (DFL) for the sale of television rights will be divided. The amount could range from 2. 5 to 3 billion euros.


The Alliance of Traditional Clubs believes that they are the ones who attract fans to the stadium and to TV screens. They make the Bundesliga attractive and therefore marketable. According to the plan, this should be given higher priority when distributing money in the future.
